Dan Sharnoff is a non-union cinematographer based in New York City. Recent feature length credits include award-winning films; THE PROJECT, RUNNING FUNNY and the critically acclaimed drama, CHARLIE. CHARLIE was exhibited theatrically on the East Coast in addition to screening alongside RUNNING FUNNY as part of the Anthology Film Archives' New Filmmakers Series. While focusing his attention predominantly on narrative features and shorts, Dan also shoots spots, music videos, web content and industrals. Over the years Dan has frequently collaborated with New York City based producers and directors including: Salvatore Interlandi, DJ Mendel, Erik Weigel, Sorrel Ahlfeld, Jason Noto, Ryan Piotrowicz, Adriana Alba, Julie Christeas, Tim Duff, Terry Leonard, Jonathan Gershon, Anthony Grippa, Gene Gallerano etc.
*MAY 2010* BABYLAND, a Columbia University Graduate Thesis short film directed by Marc Fratello has been awarded the Focus Features Best Film Award, Student Choice Best Film Award and Audience Award at the 2010 Columbia University Film Festival.
